Initial and Ongoing Credentialing

The CETA team believes in quality and teamwork—this is reflected in our credentialing process and ongoing support.

  • For initial credentialing, our CETA team will provide an initial 5-day training, co-train and observe CETA trainings, and oversee the provision of supervision to supervisors until competency is obtained.

  • As representatives of CETA, trainers are held to the highest standard and must have an intimate knowledge of CETA and its updated research and applications. To ensure that all trainers are operating under similar principles, our CETA team will provide:

    • A bi-annual trainer meeting (1-day) with a Master CETA trainer to stay up to date on CETA development and implementation practices.

    • Supervision guidance, competency checks and reviews, as needed

    • Continued support and oversight of at least 2 CETA trainings per year

    • Continued oversight of mastery of new or updated content

    • Coordination on an annual report on all CETA activities via the CETA Global portal
